Metzger has an incredible attention to detail on their menu. I am excited to return with each change of the season! The house red, a Zweigelt, is so flavorful and distinct. Cocktails are creative and well-crafted while the tap list always has something I want. Today they had Maine Lunch. We ordered the chicory salad, an herbal adventure of crisp and crunchy with a balance of bitterness and creaminess from the labneh dressing. The house-smoked local oysters followed with elegant garnishes and ingredients. Well-seasoned homemade crackers rounded out the dish, plated beautifully with tomato ‘petals’. We always enjoy the charred cabbage here. Perfectly tender and silky, savory from the bagna cauda and cured egg, with crispies from the gremolata. Dessert was a tough choice— I adore the funnel cake with sherry soaked apples!! But today we opted for the melon cake with sencha buttercream and cantaloupe Bavarian cream layered into a chiffon cake. All of the delicate flavors were so balanced and complementary. The stone fruit sundae with almond ice cream had the richest fresh cherries. Been here many times over the years and in impressed every time.
We had an amazing brunch here! Really interesting and tasty entrees and a delicious bloody mary. My friend and I both agreed the sausage patties were the best we've ever tasted. Our server was also great and very accommodating to requests. Would definitely return for brunch and would love to try dinner options some time. Thanks for a lovely experience!
Wow, great classic German food with a twist. The schnitzel was fried to perfection while the caviar, red cabbage and mustard sauce added a creative blend of new flavors. The charred cabbage was another great dish. Highly recommend!
Very pleasant dinner with family. I got there early, and the bartender quickly engaged me in conversation and a drinks interview. Good spirits selection, small but well-chosen taps. Meal was VERY good, a schnitzel with great toppings. My nephew is vegan, and they came up with a cabbage and farro off-menu dish that was quite tasty. Not cheap, but value for the money.
Absolutely loved brunch! Small and cozy vibe with a nice atmosphere. German influenced brunch menu. Everything was fantastic and the Bloody Mary was in my top 3 of all-time faves. Will definitely be back!
Great bar, craft cocktail selection and bartender. Cozy atmosphere with helpful service. This is definitely "German" food, schnitzel, etc. The rest of our party loved it although I found the menu a bit limited for my provincial tastes. Don't let my closed mind stop you from trying out this one! Still good rating

This place is amazing! Loved the happy hour drinks and food. It’s so nice how this place is nestled on the corner of the neighborhood. Our bartender Faith made the best drinks and kept the atmosphere great the whole time. Highly recommended this restaurant if you’re looking to freshen your palette.
